Coming Out

Coming out is sharing your sexual identification whether it be gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered. It is one of the most difficult and most rewarding decisions of your life. You have reached a point where you understand yourself enough to share it with those special people in your life: your friends, your family, your role models, your teachers, etc. It is a special time in your life. From that point on nothing will ever be the same. You will no longer need to hide, wear a mask in front of others, or feel like people can't understand you. It is a step into your new future. Nothing is easy. Being a GLBT youth is difficult, we certainly wouldn't choose to be different. You are special and unique, but there are many people just like you. Look through the information on this page and throughout the rest of the web site. I hope that these pages will aid in your coming out process. Feel free to email me and ask me questions. If I don't know the answer, I can most likely find it for you. Remember, seek your inner strength, don't depend on others to hold you up, and you will always endure.
